			Dr. Carlos Untal Graduated from Ross University School of Medicine 
            in 2000. He completed Anesthesiology residency at Case Western Reserve 
            University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio in 2004. His interest in pain
            management led him to his pain management fellowship at University of 
            California at Davis Medical Center. In 2006, Dr. Untal joined Pain 
            Management Specialists of the Central Coast.
              
            Dr. Untal treats patients with chronic pain conditions by using a 
            multidisciplinary model to provide functional pain control. Treatments 
            may include injection intervention, use of opioid pain medication, 
            physical therapy, pain psychology and implantable pain devices. He works
            closely with local oncologists to provide cancer intrathecal pain pumps. 
            This provides highly effective control of severe and intractable
